The format of this presentation is to dig into how during the toughest year to date in modern times, (2020) we as Coloradans have the power to heal ourselves through nature and to process the ripple effect of the pandemic (or a once busy life pre-pandemic) to reset our way of living and heal so that we can show up at work as a happier, healthier, person with a full life of authenticity and intention. This presentation is for anyone curious about healing in nature from hiking, those who struggle to disconnect from work and technology, and those that have realized that healing begins from within to live a more purposeful life while having various Colorado nature as the backdrop on a journey of hiking and processing feelings in the outdoors. Attendees will learn about nature deficit disorder, the impacts of mental health from COVID-19, the great spike in being outdoors during COVID-19 lockdowns, and why nature will make you look at life more different than before. You will learn about resiliency and gratitude. In the pandemic, our mental, physical, and emotional well-being has been impacted, and the good news is that we can process and release these feelings within the outdoors in a healthy manner.
