Kiki is the Center for Innovation Coordinator and can answer all of your questions while here, from what membership type to get to where you can find the best cocktail in town after work. Kiki started her interest in entrepreneurship and small business at a young age, as she watched her father run a family business out of their home. As she went on to college to get a BS in Environmental Technology and Management at North Carolina State University, she became very interested in how we translate scientific research into information businesses can actually use. She created a student organization to partner students with business to help them make one change to better their community, their workers, or the environment. She went on to get her masters in Sustainable Business at Arizona State University, where she focused on local economies and the role of small business in community development. She then moved to Durango in 2017 where she has been working with the business community since. When she’s not at the Center for Innovation you’ll find her out on the trails running, mountain biking, or skiing with her partner and pup, Luda (yes, like the rapper).
